Reflections gaze back, with piercing eyes, Bearing witness to my soul's demise.

Layers unravel, veils slowly shed,

Revealing scars, where emotions bled.

Letting go, a delicate art to embrace, Releasing burdens with gentle grace.

For to hold on tight to sorrows old,

Is to imprison dreams that long to unfold.

Each tear that falls in the river of time, Carries a piece of the past's paradigm.

But in the chasms of release, I find,

A newfound strength, an enlightened mind.

The weight of regrets, I cast away,

Embracing freedom in the light of day.
